THE DISEASE

Endometriosis-related infertility

Difficulty conceiving in the presence of endometriosis — managed alongside your wider fertility team, not instead of them.

Endometriosis affects fertility through several mechanisms, and surgery is one option among several. We work with your reproductive endocrinologist rather than in competition with them; sometimes the right advice is to go straight to IVF and not operate at all.

Prototype content. This page proves the shape. The clinical copy needs writing and reviewing by a surgeon before publication, and should be bylined to a named surgeon with a link to their profile — Google weights author credentials heavily for medical content.

How we diagnose it

A careful, unhurried history usually reaches a clinical diagnosis without a diagnostic operation. We map your symptoms against everywhere the disease is known to hide, and we review any imaging or operative reports you already have.

How we treat it

Treatment depends on what we find and what you want from it. Where surgery is right, we excise disease at full depth rather than burning its surface. Where it isn't, we'll say so — and we'd rather tell you that than operate.

Questions patients ask us

  • Should I have surgery before IVF, or go straight to IVF?
  • Will excision improve my chances of conceiving?
  • Am I running out of time?

Bring these to a consult. Sixty minutes is long enough to answer all of them properly.Request a consult →
